The Internet portal PerfectHair as well as the shopping community integrated therein (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Website”) are operated by PERFECTHAIR BV, 2431 LAAKDAL, Huyten 8 and company number 0672.591.466, info@perfecthair.be (hereinafter ” PerfectHair “, “we” or “us”). PerfectHair attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and collects, processes and uses your personal data only in accordance with the following conditions and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
2. Your personal data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number or your postal and e-mail address.
3. Collection, processing and use of personal data.
PerfectHair collects, processes and uses your personal information only in the manner described below.
3.1 Member account
On the website, you have the opportunity to set up a personal account for the shopping community (hereinafter “member account”). In your account, you can store your personal information and thus store easily in the shopping community.
For the creation of your personal account, and depending on which channel you register with, PerfectHair requires your e-mail address and a freely selectable password, and if necessary, your address and first and last name. The email address you provide also serves as the access ID for your member account. You will automatically receive a confirmation email after successful registration. You can update your information at any time in the personal section of your member account.
3.2 Registration via Facebook login for homepages
If you are a member of Facebook, you can alternatively use the “Facebook login for homepages” service to log in to our website. As a result, we will obtain from Facebook all the necessary information to open a member account based on the data you previously entered on Facebook.
To enable this feature, your browser will download a script from the Facebook servers when you first visit our website. In the course of this, it is technically possible for Facebook to become aware that you are visiting our website.
If you use the “Facebook login for homepages” feature on our website, Facebook will make certain information available to us. This requires you to confirm on the Facebook website for your public Facebook profile (name, profile picture, age, gender, language, nationality and other public information) that your Facebook friends list as well as your Facebook email address may be forwarded to us from Facebook.
Because we technically have a very limited ability to configure the “Facebook login for homepages” feature, we cannot limit the data Facebook makes available. However, we store only the data necessary for registration with PerfectHair (email address, your address and your first and last name; see clause 3.1 above).
3.3 Orders
To process orders, PerfectHair needs your address, your first and last name, your address and your phone number. This data is provided in the course of the ordering process, if not already stored in your member account (cf. article 3.1). You can specify a delivery address that is different from the billing address.
After selecting a payment service provider, you will be prompted to enter the information required to use the respective payment service provider. This payment information is forwarded directly to the respective payment service provider and is not stored by us.
We store data used for the billing process and a (possibly different) delivery address indicated by you in your member account, so you do not have to enter them again for the next purchase. You can change this information at any time in the future.
3.4 Contact form
You can contact PerfectHair directly by using the contact form on the website and/or by emailing info@perfecthair.be. PerfectHair collects, processes and uses the information provided by you through the contact form only to process your request.
3.5 Newsletter
To the extent you have agreed, PerfectHair will use the email address you first provided when setting up your account to send you information about current offers via email. PerfectHair may modify the content of the newsletter in such a way that it contains only the information that PerfectHair believes may be of particular interest to you. To customize this information, PerfectHair takes into account your purchase history, the products you have purchased in the past, as well as the products you have viewed on the site and placed in the shopping cart in the past.
You can manage newsletter settings in the personal section of your member account.
3.6 Use of logistics service providers and other service providers
When sending your order, PerfectHair makes your personal information available to logistics service providers who process this data on behalf of PerfectHair for the purpose of executing the contract and subject to the necessary security measures.
3.7 Cookies
PerfectHair uses cookies on this website. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser’s cache to enable browser recognition and make your visit to our website more attractive.
We use so-called session cookies and permanent cookies. Session cookies expire automatically upon leaving the website. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a longer period of time and allow us to store the contents of your shopping cart and take advantage of the web analytics and individualized targeting tools described below.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information created by the cookies about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymization is enabled on this website, whereby a user’s IP address is truncated within European Union member states or other states in the European Economic Area that have adopted the agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Google will not associate the IP address transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics with any other data held by Google. If and to the extent that you are registered with us and visit our website, we will also use Google Analytics to create cross-device reports on your website activities. 3.9 Display marketing
On our website, we use tracking technologies from Criteo GmbH as well as the DoubleClick Campaign Manager from Google Inc., USA. These enable us to also target Internet users who have visited our website on the websites of our partners through targeted product recommendations in the form of banner ads. The insertion of these advertisements on the pages of our partners is based on cookies and on the analysis of your previous usage habits. This analysis is performed under a pseudonym. No user profiles are associated with your real name. 3.10 Facebook Custom Audiences
To the extent you have agreed, we will also use the Facebook Custom Audiences tool offered by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”), which allows Facebook to serve banner ads on Facebook on our behalf. To this end, we will send your email address to Facebook in encrypted form. If you are a member of Facebook, Facebook will know that you are also registered with PerfectHair.
We also use the “Lookalike Audiences feature” offered by Facebook, which allows Facebook to display ads to Facebook users with profile characteristics similar to yours.

3.11 Adobe Target
We use Adobe Target software from Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA, (“Adobe”) to test the success of advertising campaigns. Adobe Target uses cookies that collect specific test information, in particular the number of registrations and purchases on the respective test landing page. These test results will be forwarded to Google for evaluation under Google Analytics (see above B.IX).
