The reason? Weft hair extensions should never be left to dry loose. When that happens, they can suffer irreparable damage: the bands can get tangled, the hair can dry out or even damage your own hair if it’s not fully combed out & cared for right away.
On vacation, this is almost impossible to avoid. Consider:

a fresh dip in the sea

or just the humid air making your hair clammy faster
Imagine: you jump in the water at 11am, your weft hair extensions get wet. To care for them correctly, you’d have to immediately return to your room: rinse, wash, intensive grooming & complete brushing out … only to go back to the pool or beach. No one does that, & that’s understandable. But that’s just how problems arise. Salt from seawater is also extremely drying for both your own hair & your weft hair extensions.

Do you still want to go on vacation with extensions carefree? Then choose techniques that do allow loose drying, such as Keratins, i-tips, tapes, nano bonds & invisiline.

Our hair extensions adapt, to your own hair. If you let your hair dry loose often, you will find that it will take a gentle blow. If you are going to style out the hair extensions often, you will find that the hair extensions stay naturally stylish. That’s because at Perfect Hair we choose memory hair, hair that adapts to what you do with your hair.
But really wavy or curly hair extensions we don’t have (yet). You could opt to put a soft perm in the hair extensions to match the client’s curl. Keep in mind that this is only appropriate in our Diamond Series hair extensions & a perm can also break the hair extensions or will cause the wear time to be shorter than normal. Therefore, be careful with this.

Yes, a weft can always break in the band itself. These are the most common causes:
- rough brushing
- Brushing with an inappropriate detangling brush (always use our weft onwarbortel)
- haircare products containing too many caustic ingredients
- you or your customer accidentally cutting into the weft
Hand tied wefts you cannot cut through the band, our Secret wefts you can cut through the band.

This is indeed possible, we list here the possible reasons :
- if a client has naturally wavy/curly hair, that is the natural movement that the hair makes
- If the placement is done with slightly twisting the lock to get into the gutter of the keratin ( never do )
- If the lock of hair is lifted when placed in the keratin for placement ( never do, always keep the hair straight down )
- When the client makes twisting movements with the fingers in the hair. This is often without them realizing it ( often this is then on the side as children often do ).
Twisted keratin extensions are best removed to avoid further damage

You will find that after your wearing time of 4 months that your keratin hair extensions are still in perfect condition. However, we cannot have them rebonded, which would allow you to reuse them. This is because Perfect Hair is then not as perfect as before. After rebonding, hair extensions no longer pass their strict quality control & lose their A label that indicates they are the best hair extensions on the market. Since we go for nothing less than perfection, you can therefore not reuse these hair extensions.

Of course, keratin hair extensions are not supposed to crumble at the base itself but sometimes this does happen. These are the most common causes:
- the keratins were not closed quite correctly during placement
- the keratins have small fracture lines
- the hairdresser uses heat tongs to place the hair extensions
- overheating occurred on the keratintes
- the hairdresser does not handle our cold ultrasonic device correctly
- the hairdresser opens & closes the tongs of the ultrasonic device more than 3 times
- ultrasonic device pliers are obsolete & need to be replaced
- the client uses haircare products that are not suitable for the sutures
- the customer got too close to the keratin bonding with a heat device such as hair dryer, straightener or curling iron
- the client is in a shedding period which allows air to enter the keratins & thus has the potential to crumble
